Cripay

Terms of service

Last updated: October 27, 2026

1. The service

Cripay ("the service") provides software to request, receive and track cryptocurrency payments: a hosted checkout, payment links, a merchant app, an API and related tools. The service is operated by Cripay ("we").

2. Accounts

You create an account with an email address or a blockchain wallet. You are responsible for the security of that email or wallet and for everything done with your account. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement.

We do not require identity verification to open an account. You still agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the laws that apply to you.

3. Non-custodial payments

By default, payments settle on-chain directly to the wallet address you configure. We never hold those funds and cannot reverse, recover or redirect a transaction once the network confirms it. Verify every payout address: transfers to a wrong address are irreversible.

4. Optional balance

If you choose to accumulate payments in a Cripay balance, that balance is held in managed wallets operated by us and is reflected in an internal ledger. You can withdraw it to an external wallet at any time, subject to network availability and operational limits. The balance is not a bank deposit and is not insured.

5. Fees

We charge a percentage fee on each confirmed payment, shown in the app and on the pricing page at the time of the payment. Network (blockchain) fees are paid by the sender and are not controlled by us. There is no monthly or setup fee.

6. Prohibited uses

You may not use the service for anything illegal in your jurisdiction, for fraud, for money laundering or financing of terrorism, to sell goods or services that are illegal where you or your customers are, or in violation of applicable sanctions. We may screen addresses against public sanctions lists and may suspend accounts that breach these rules.

7. Payment finality and disputes

Blockchain payments are final. Refunds, if any, are between you and your customer: you send them from your wallet. We provide the records (payment, transaction hash, timestamps) but we are not a party to the sale.

8. Test mode, availability and changes

Test mode simulates payments and moves no funds. We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation; blockchains, RPC providers and price sources are third parties. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

9. API, SDKs and open source

You may use the API and SDKs to integrate the service into your own products within the rate limits and in compliance with these terms. Open-source components are licensed under their own licenses, which prevail for those components.

10. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, for losses caused by blockchain networks, wallets, exchanges or third-party providers, or for funds sent to a wrong address or on a wrong network. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
